Parking Lot Paving in the Salt Lake Valley

J&C Asphalt is expanding north from our Utah County home base into the southern Salt Lake Valley, currently taking on projects in Murray, Sandy, Draper, West Jordan, and West Valley City. This corner of the valley carries a lot of retail, office, and warehouse density, which makes commercial parking lot paving, striping, and maintenance the biggest opportunity for our crew here, alongside residential driveway work.

Commercial Density Across Five Cities

Murray sits near the geographic center of Salt Lake Valley, anchored by dense retail and medical office development. Sandy carries a similar mix of big-box retail and sports and entertainment venues to its south. Draper straddles the Point of the Mountain at the valley's south end, home to a growing corporate and tech office corridor. West Jordan and West Valley City, further west, carry some of the valley's heaviest concentration of large retail centers, distribution facilities, and industrial warehouse space.

That mix of property types is exactly where full-crew commercial paving matters most. Large lots need to be resurfaced or newly installed quickly to avoid disrupting business operations, and striping and ADA-compliant markings need to hold up under heavy daily traffic.

We're building our Salt Lake Valley presence around that kind of commercial work first, while still taking on residential driveway projects across all five cities.

What Expansion Looks Like Right Now

We're not trying to be everywhere in the Salt Lake Valley on day one. Our approach is to take on projects in Murray, Sandy, Draper, West Jordan, and West Valley City where our Utah County crew can travel up I-15, across the Point of the Mountain, without stretching our schedule thin. That usually means we're most competitive on larger commercial jobs, where one full-crew visit covers a lot of square footage, and on residential projects that fit naturally around our Utah Valley scheduling.

As we take on more work in these five cities, we'll expand further into the valley. For now, the fastest way to know if we can fit your project is to text us your city and scope, and we'll give you a straight answer.

Yes. Draper, Sandy, and Murray sit just across the Point of the Mountain from our Utah County service area, an easy stretch up I-15 for our crew and equipment.

Do you work with property management companies?

Yes. Multi-tenant retail centers and office parks across Murray, Sandy, and West Jordan are common clients for us, and we can coordinate paving and maintenance work around tenant schedules rather than disrupting a full property at once.
