Murray sits near the geographic center of Salt Lake Valley, anchored by dense retail and medical office development. Sandy carries a similar mix of big-box retail and sports and entertainment venues to its south. Draper straddles the Point of the Mountain at the valley's south end, home to a growing corporate and tech office corridor. West Jordan and West Valley City, further west, carry some of the valley's heaviest concentration of large retail centers, distribution facilities, and industrial warehouse space.
